UECC recognizes and respects the importance of the privacy of our visitors of our websites and users of online systems. This policy accounts for the personal data and cookies etc. used via our websites and online systems.

On our website and in the online systems we only collect the necessary information about name, company, postal address, email address and other contact information you voluntarily decide to share that is relevant and necessary for the use of the services. Storage and handling of sensitive data

As a European group, UECC may transfer personal data collected by us on an aggregated or individual level to various divisions, subsidiaries, joint ventures and affiliated companies of UECC AS located inside the European Economic Area for the purposes stated above and in accordance with applicable laws, as well to data processors outside of UECC for storage and service purposes. Personal data will not be disclosed to anyone outside UECC unless permitted or required under applicable legislation.

We delete or anonymize your personal data when it is no longer needed for the purposes for which it was collected and subsequently processed.

We store personal data on protected online servers with limited access and our security measures are evaluated on an ongoing basis. The online servers are protected by anti-virus software and firewalls, among other measures.

We reserve the right in our sole discretion to amend this privacy policy at any time without providing prior notice to you. We will post the at any time current version of this privacy policy on the website.

Law and jurisdiction

These terms shall be subject to Norwegian law and any dispute, claim, matter of construction or interpretation arising out of or relating to the website, including these terms, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Norwegian courts.


Recruitment of new staff

UECC AS recognizes and respects the privacy of our applicants, current employees, and former employees. This Privacy Statement concerns personal data submitted by you during your application process, personal data collected by UECC as part of the recruitment process, and personal data collected by UECC as part of a previous employment process.


Collection of personal data

When applying for a position within UECC you will be requested to submit your CV and resumé containing sensitive data such as your name, e-mail address, mobile phone number and your primary language. You may also be requested to provide additional information, such as your address, relevant education and any other relevant information required for UECC to evaluate your application. You may be requested to respond to various assessment tests, including assessment tests on logical reasoning and personality profiling.


Purpose of using your personal data

UECC processes the personal data submitted by you or collected from other parties e.g. recruitment agencies, for the purpose of assessing your candidacy for our available positions, as well as for HR and personnel administration purposes.


Storage and deletion

The personal data submitted by you as part of your application process and other collected and submitted personal information as part of such application process, including potential assessment tests results, interview conclusions, etc., will be stored on a secure online server. The storage period is 6 months for data submitted and collected in accordance with your applications. If you choose to withdraw your application during the application process, the storage period is 6 months.

UECC stores your personal data to simplify the application process in the event you should choose to apply for another job at UECC during this period.

If you are hired by UECC, your submitted personal data and all personal data collected through the recruitment process will be stored and processed throughout your employment along with personal data collected throughout the employment process. The personal data will be deleted after the end of your employment in accordance with the internal policies in this respect.
